Terms of Service — Bandleep

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Bandleep (bandleep.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. What Bandleep is

Bandleep is an online practice platform for IELTS and CELPIP test preparation. It provides AI-generated feedback, estimated band scores, and CLB level estimates to help you practise.

Important disclaimer

Bandleep scores and feedback are AI-generated estimates for practice purposes only. They are not official IELTS or CELPIP scores and are not recognised by immigration authorities, universities, or any official body. IELTS is owned by British Council, IDP, and Cambridge Assessment English. CELPIP is owned by Paragon Testing Enterprises. Bandleep is not affiliated with either organisation.

3. Free and paid plans

A free tier is available with limited practice sessions per week.
Pro plans unlock additional sessions and are billed weekly or monthly via Stripe.
All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no refunds are issued for partial periods.
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Your account

You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bandleep.
You may not share your account with others.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Bandleep for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate requests to the platform
Submit content that is abusive, offensive, or infringes third-party rights
Misuse the AI feedback system to generate content for purposes other than personal practice
Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions

6. Intellectual property

All content on Bandleep (design, code, practice questions, AI prompts) is owned by Bandleep or licensed to us.
You retain ownership of any text you submit as practice responses.
By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of generating feedback.
IELTS® and CELPIP® are registered trademarks of their respective owners. Bandleep is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Bandleep is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI scores will match official exam results. Use of this platform for exam preparation is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bandleep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to exam failure, immigration decisions, or reliance on AI-generated scores.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Bandleep after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Canada.
